Incredible homemade snacks

Had a great time with friends exploring the beautiful Sussex countryside. We visited the South Downs National Park and Chichester Cathedral, both only a short drive away. The place has a lovely vibe, friendly staff, and delicious breakfasts. Check out the cozy beer garden!

The restaurant menu in the room suggested a set menu, but the actual menu was a bit disappointing and more classic than expected.

Loved the cozy atmosphere and the delicious pie for supper. It's a hidden gem for sure!

the horse offered great coffee and tea in my double room. i loved the nice decor and had an easy time parking. the shower was perfect, and it's close to lovely woodland walks, making it great for a peaceful getaway.

A heads up though—the meals come at a set price but veggies are extra, which can add up, and be ready for a surprise charge on that coffee if you're a fan! Heating in the room could’ve been a bit toasty too.

The Horse provided a comfortable double room equipped with excellent coffee facilities and charming decor. The only downside was some road noise, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The bed in our double room provided unmatched comfort, ensuring we had restful nights. The breakfast included great coffee complemented by perfectly poached eggs, and the evening meal featured a fabulous onion tart.

While the comfortable bed and high-quality toiletries were noteworthy, the lack of proper ventilation in the small room was concerning, especially during warmer nights. Breakfast was a delight, featuring great coffee and perfectly poached eggs, but service could be improved as dishes arrived simultaneously, causing issues with temperature. I also encountered difficulties exiting the premises when a door malfunctioned, which raised safety concerns.

Great decor but limited options

Went for Sunday lunch. The place looked lovely and the food was pretty good, but the menu was just one three-course option for £30 each. If you just want a main, you're outta luck. Plus, no vegan choices beyond the one main. Kinda disappointing. Should be a bit more flexible with the menu!
